The Whadjuk peoples have used this corridor of land for tens of thousands of years before us. Travelling along the wetlands between the swan estuaries to Yanchep and even as far North as Moore River, the sandy hills between the corridor and the coast gave them some protection on their travels during harsh Winters.
Yaberoo Budjara translates to ‘Land of the peoples North of Perth’ and to have an event that runs along this trail is a privileged opportunity for us to acknowledge the history of the region and our country’s first peoples.
Race distances of 5, 10, 15, 25 and 50km are available for you to immerse yourselves in the beautiful coastal bushlands along the limestone trail.
