It is time. It has been undeniably one of the most iconic trails in Western Australia. In fact, in Australia. And for years, we have been asked and asked to hold an Ultra Marathon along the entire course.
Yep, the entire length, plus of course with a little bit of interest.
145k+ run in a Southerly direction in even years and Northerly in odd years. Yep, inspired by the one and only Comrades, each year, we change direction.
And, if the entire length is a little intimidating, we have 2 other options, half distance, starting midway, knocking off half the trail, then come back the following year and see the other half of the trail! OR, run it as a duo, swapping as little or often as you like at any of the aid stations.
So, it's been begging us for years to hold an ultra marathon along this entire iconic route, so September 21, 2024, this event starts what will undeniably be an instant icon on the Australian trail running scene
