The ‘Coast to Kosci’ 240km race is Australia’s premier ultramarathon. Instigated in 2004, it has become a unique and iconic race, organised by runners for runners, which values Community, Humility and Resilience. The race commences at Twofold Bay near Eden in Southern NSW in Australia and finishes 240km later at Charlotte Pass, after summitting Mt Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest point. With 5,482m of ascent, and 3,648m of descent, Coast to Kosci is Australia’s only ultramarathon to pass through multiple climate zones and is truly a sea to summit experience. Entry is invitation only. Just 50 runners are invited, with runners up to 46 hours to complete the race – Andrew Tuckey holds the race record of 24hrs 33mins set in 2014.
